At WAIS, our Primary Education curriculum is designed to provide a rich and engaging learning experience that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and a love for lifelong learning. This area includes history, geography, civics, and economics, allowing students to explore their world and understand how societies function. We encourage students to think critically about their role as informed citizens.

Assessment at WAIS is an ongoing process designed to inform teaching and support student learning. We utilize a variety of assessment methods aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum to evaluate student progress and achievement:

At the end of units or terms, we conduct summative assessments, such as tests and projects, to evaluate students’ understanding of the content taught.
